How are the oysters shipped to ensure freshness?

All oysters are harvested to order and shipped via overnight or 2-day priority mail in insulated boxes with gel ice packs to maintain a safe, cold temperature during transit.

How long will my oysters stay fresh once they arrive?

When kept refrigerated between 34 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit and covered with a damp cloth, live oysters can stay fresh for up to 5 to 7 days after delivery.

Do I need to be home to sign for my delivery?

No signature is required for delivery; however, we strongly recommend being available to receive the package immediately to get your shellfish into refrigeration as quickly as possible.

What is your return policy for perishable goods?

Due to the perishable nature of live shellfish, we do not accept returns. If there is an issue with your order or damage during transit, please contact us within 24 hours for a resolution.

Are the oysters cleaned before they are shipped?

Yes, we power-wash our oysters to remove external debris and barnacles, but we recommend a quick rinse under cold running water before shucking and serving.

Can I schedule a specific delivery date for an event?

Absolutely. You can select your preferred delivery date at checkout. We recommend scheduling your delivery for one day before your planned event to account for any carrier delays.
